AP Valletta is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on and enthusiastic person to join its international team as Interior Designer.
The ideal candidate will be a confident team player with minimum 4 years experience. She/he will strongly contribute to interior design from concept stages to completion and will be conversant with architectural and construction drawings. She/he will understand and work with project budgets and work schedules, produce detailed interior layouts and tender packages including technical drawings, bills of quantities and specifications, source finishes, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, hardware and accessories, while establishing and maintaining supplier relationships.
She/he will have excellent communication skills and will enjoy being challenged, working on projects of varying complexity within a team of professionals, in a flexible and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will take on a full-time role and will be welcomed in our studio in Valletta.
Requirements:
- Professional degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture or Interior Design;
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience;
- Experience within historical settings, with heritage buildings, will be considered a strong asset;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is essential; strong 3D and Revit skills would be advantageous;
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is an asset;
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and creativity.
