We are looking for a passionate, hands on, highly motivated Structural Revit Technician to take on a full-time role in our Malta office. The ideal candidate will be a confident team player with a sound knowledge of (i) Revit and its integration with structural software packages and (ii) structural engineering and construction principles, as well as the talent and potential to work on development of all phases of the design process and particularly on detail and design development and construction documentation.

We are willing to consider a range of experience from recent graduates to more experienced candidates with a few or several years’ experience. The candidates will contribute to all design stages but primarily to design development and tender and construction information and will be conversant with architectural and construction drawings. They will enjoy being challenged and will be working on projects of varying complexity within a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Structural Engineers and liaise with project teams to produce structural information modelling and drawing production on projects including general arrangement and detail drawings under the guidance of the Engineers.
  • Prepare and develop structural drawings, BIM models, images and other documents relating to the design including interfaces with structural design software packages
  • Work with project teams to develop and implement project-specific BIM workflows, BIM Execution Plans and data management
  • Take responsibility for the production and delivery of structural information for specific areas of the design and project development

Requirements:

  • Experience with projects in reinforced concrete or steel
  • ideally four to five years’ work experience with Revit for structural design purposes;
  • structural engineering background or sound knowledge of construction and structural engineering considerations
  • proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
  • proficiency in Dynamo would be an asset;
  • ability to work in a professional environment within budgets and deadlines;
  • well-developed communication skills;
  • fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Maltese and other languages is an asset;
  • enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
