David will be speaking about AP Valletta’s feedback on Malta Vision 2050, a public document issued by the Government of Malta setting out the long-term national strategy for sustainable development. AP Valletta was engaged on behalf of the Malta Chamber of Commerce to consult on the public document.
Simone will be participating in the panel discussion titled 'Adapting for Tomorrow: Turning Constraints into Opportunities’.
The Conference, which is being organised by the Malta Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with AIS Environment, convenes a distinguished group of business leaders, subject-matter experts, policymakers, and government authorities to examine Malta’s current trajectory. One of the objectives of the conference is to define strategies that encourage economic growth while safeguarding environmental and social well-being.
The programme will commence with a data-informed analysis of Malta’s current conditions, incorporating statistical evaluations and commentaries by experts. The conference will subsequently transition to future projections in line with Malta Vision 2050. Principal areas of discussion will include land use, mobility and congestion, infrastructure capacity, air and noise quality, and population health.
