We are pleased to announce that our proposal for the carefully considered restoration and adaptive reuse of Palazzo Mangion in Mdina has been granted planning approval by the Planning Authority.
The project will transform this historic palazzo into a five-star heritage hotel. Approved works include the conservation and repair of the existing fabric, as well as a sensitive internal reconfiguration to accommodate guest suites and shared spaces. The introduced architectural interventions are designed in a manner that is responsive to the building’s historic context.
The proposal also incorporates upgraded building services, improved accessibility, and enhancements to the courtyard and roof areas. These interventions are designed to elevate the overall guest experience while safeguarding the heritage value of this Grade 1 listed building.
