AP’s proposal for a recreational park for the community of Żebbuġ in Malta selected for the Vjal Kulħadd initiative

We are happy to announce that our proposal in collaboration with the Ħaż Żebbug Local Council for the ‘Vjal Kulħadd’ initiative was selected as one of the 14 projects to be implemented in it’s first phase. Our project aims to transform an area in Ħal Mula by establishing a new pedestrian promenade that prioritises people, provide a multi-sports court for children and a reservoir to collect rainwater for re-use.

‘Vjal Kulħadd’ (Everyone’s Avenue) is an ambitious initiative aimed at reclaiming public spaces across Malta, prioritising pedestrians and cyclists while reducing vehicular dominance. The objective of this project is to create more accessible, sustainable, and vibrant urban areas that foster community interaction and improve the overall quality of life.

Our masterplan aims to optimise the infrastructure by creating high-quality community spaces that include a network of pedestrian-friendly areas and new links to green buffers. These enhancements will provide a range of activities and enjoyment spaces while improving pedestrian safety across the area for the people of Żebbuġ.
