Valletta-Accra launched by Actar Publishers

What do Valletta and Accra have in common? Both are coastal capitals shaped by colonial trade — and both are ripe for a deeper reading of identity through heritage.

Valletta – Accra: A Dialogue Between Mercantile Cities explores the physical and cultural legacy of empire through a comparative study of these two cities. The book features photographic and written essays as well as a speculative design project for Accra’s Osu Salem School, reframing heritage as a dynamic, regenerative practice.

Authored by David Derban, Ann Dingli, Guillaume Dreyfuss, and Erica Giusta, AP Valletta and published by Actar Publishers, this project offers a new model for cross-continental urban research.
