Tracey Sammut is an architect at AP Valletta. Her work focuses on restoration, adaptive reuse, and heritage, with an underlying approach to create dialogue between older vernacular fabric and contemporary language and function. Tracey has worked on projects of diverse nature and scale, from conceptual and architectural design to implementation. Through her collaboration with non-profit organisations, she has gained experience with community-centred projects that prioritise social engagement and cultural value. More recently, as a freelance architect, Tracey has expanded her practice into exhibition design, set design, and set decoration, contributing to projects with both local and international production companies.

Tracey graduated with an M (Arch.) Architecture and Urban Design in 2018. Her research explored the condition of the ruin and the process of decay in parallel with the discourse around cultural, social, and ecological welfare.
