Architects and engineers at AP Valletta will be embarking on a FIDIC contracts training programme this Friday 11th September 2020, provided by experts in the field. The four-week programme will be exploring the client and consultant contractual form of relationship, the architect’s responsibility at law, the role of the Engineer under the FIDIC Rainbow Suite and Determinations - the architect’s role as mediator and claim resolver.
Established in 1913, FIDIC (an acronym for Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils), is an international standards organisation for Consulting Engineers which provides technology-based services for the built and natural environment. Its standard contracts are reputed as the leading contracts in international engineering and construction projects and are now widely used in Malta.
