Ephraim Joris was a design director at AP and a faculty member at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. He graduated as an architect from St. Lucas, currently KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture, where he recently concluded a 4 year term as Program Director for Interior Architecture. Ephraim read for a PhD research within the invitional program at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT, Melbourne, AU). His postdoctoral research focuses on heritage and historical design principles. After a first spell in Malta, Ephraim co-founded AP’s office in London, which he led with Riet Eeckout until 2015. He has contributed as a researcher and lecturer to various international institutions. He is the author of various international publications and academic papers.
